i was going to call it dandelion mantra but instead called it dandelion sutra then i wondered what is a sutra and is there a dandelion sutra and look it up and find the ninth entry is a post i did in 2016, dandelion sun sutra for a rainy day. in sanskrit sutra means thread, which is probably where suture came from, to thread a wound with healing, originally thread to weave knowledge threadlike in simple words or syllables. i talk to mister like that, threadlike, and threadlike place things on his forehead, with syllables he understands, for spiritual relief, an almost wordless threadlike chant over time.

this was the time we met r. on a bird walk and started talking. (may 21, 2016. i asked the birders if they saw the dead crow. r. said no, can i see? and i gave her the address.)
i can't find the crow picture, but it was by a thorn tree and when i was looking at the dead one several crows came and landed chanting above my head.
