You can only be on one side of this assault on human rights, this assault on international law, this assault on the broader post-war system. Either you are in support of those attacking it, which is the U.S. and Israel axis and their allies, or you are in support of those who are defending it, and therefore, of the victims, therefor, of the vulnerable, therefor, of the people who believe in international law, and it's a moment in history when we all have to choose.

Obama mobilized millions of new voters and formidably challenged white racism, yet deference to the structures and strictures of neoliberalism meant these new voters were left with no meaningful material improvement to their lives, and no organization to mobilize them to resist the reactionary backlash.

The Lobby of Hope & Change. |
“You feel like saying to these folks, ‘Don’t you think if I could do it, I [would] have just done it? Do you think that the only problem is that I don’t care enough about the plight of poor people, or gay people, or immigrants?’”
—Barack Obama
The building reflects both power and isolation, anchoring the historically underdeveloped and redlined neighborhoods it looms over while clearly standing apart from them. One can see it as a testament to “defying history,” as Coates puts it, in all the ambivalence of that phrase.
It was hard to know what I’d walked into. Past the security desk I turned a corner and was greeted by a concrete wall, on which black, unadorned letters spell out Hope and Change Lobby. The name is doubly strange: not only are we still waiting on hope and change, but there is also nowhere to sit.
In many ways, Donald Trump is the ghost haunting the Center—the emblem of political realities that Obama still refuses to name.*

Iran is getting stronger as the U.S. bombs fall. After dreams it seems there must be more than the corporeal world. Mom in her dementia is dreaming awake. She tells me her dream as she dreaming but it's not a dream to her it just seems like she's dreaming. I sense reality behind appearance but I don't know what that appears is real. The significant thing is to feel what's real even if it's a dream, to feel the beyond of things as they seem.

AlleluYAH by Tommy WÁ
AlleluYAH, we lift our praise,
AlleluYAH, for all our days.
In the morning light, your beauty awakes,
Radiant skies reflecting your grace.
Every flower blooms, each heartbeat sings,
Majesty unfolds as the creation brings.
With hearts set free, we sing aloud,
Yahuah, our joy, we are so proud.
Your tender mercies, they flow like a stream,
Guiding our souls, fulfilling our dream.
AlleluYAH, we lift our praise,
AlleluYAH, for all our days.
Through every storm, you carry us through,
Mighty Abba, in all that we do.
From the valleys low to the mountains high,
In the splendor of your love, we will soar and fly.
Your kindness whispers, your spirit flows wide,
Forever in your arms, we will abide.
With every moment, we sing your name,
Yahuah, our hearts set aflame.
AlleluYAH, we lift our praise,
AlleluYAH, for all our days.
(Softly)
Al-le-lu-YAH, we echo your song,
In this sacred space, where we all belong.
O my Ya-Hu-Ah, Mighty Abba divine,
In your presence, we know we will shine.
AlleluYAH, we lift our praise,
AlleluYAH, for all our days.
Your light, it guides us, a beacon so bright,
Drawing us closer throughout the night.
In the dance of your spirit, we find our way,
With every heartbeat, we choose to stay.
With voices united, we sing with delight,
Proclaiming your glory, our hearts take flight.
Mighty Savior, in you we do trust,
AlleluYAH, in you we will thrust.
AlleluYAH, we lift our praise,
AlleluYAH, for all our days.
So let the mountains bow, let the oceans roar,
In harmony rising, forever we soar.
We've tasted your goodness; your grace, pure and true,
AlleluYAH, forever to you.
AlleluYAH, we lift our praise,
AlleluYAH, for all our days.
AlleluYAH, in all that we do,
AlleluYAH, we give thanks to you.
So, now artificial intelligence is writing what the politicians say, and we're wondering if we've been taken over by an alien form of life, or death, or is it just an unholy insane alliance of zionism and capitalism. All we have is questions, and the querulous quivery awareness that we're still here.
i don't understand perfume nationalism. neither do i. who do i ask? a perfume nationalist? no, i can't. i'm afraid to ask. why is that even a question? are they aliens? i don't want to think about that. why is that in my mind? ok ok, every rabbit hole has an exit, it's not like a black hole, don't start spinning like a crazy top, nevermind.
