We enjoyed our first walk around the Obamachron. People were dressed for a Saturday night out. There are many native plants. The pathways that look confusing from the 17th floor are disorienting on the ground. It's scary trying to cross the street to get to the promise land as the walk light is also the turn light and drivers are either impatient or hostile to pedestrians. It almost feels like there are quiet spots that one could rest in, all the while feeling like those black light posts are actually for surveillance as well as illumination, but nearly everyone is smiling and carefree.
