my heart is heavy. the comet update is grim. when i walked with him last time he was walking easy on all four feet. now he's walking on three. he has to be carried up three flights of stairs. his ligament by the knee is torn entirely. his surgery is almost a month away. i can't get wrecked by anxiety, but how can i not be anxious. monday i start walking him again, with a heavy heart.
