i was relieved to see comet after the news of the torn ligament. he was calm and happy and adjusting to the slow walking though he looked with longing when we passed green open spaces. and he walked on all four feet. i think mister comet will be ok, though he'll still have to have surgery. for a minute i had a spell of magical thinking that his leg would heal itself.
