in neoliberal america i don't remember is a real good defense. it makes one unaccountably free. it makes everybody feel sorry for your innocence, ignorance, lost memory. lying stumps democracy every time. the best predator politicians make a solemn promise not to remember any responsibility. then they can continue hunting with their camouflage cloak of invisibility.
