the cats are alright pt.2. it was the international day of the cat. i learned that later in the day.
i'm back to reading how to be an antiracist along with the mayer sisters. i saw a podcast with jane elliot who believes racism is ignorance but it's the ignorance learned from power. then i read about "uplift suasion". putting the burden of racism on the subjects of racism. the problem is power and corruption and ignorance but it keeps coming back to power. power doesn't care about ignorance, power depends on ignorance to perform the business of power. still she's right that people need a real education, an education in reality, in reality of love and the capitalistic ignorance of power. i see why people focus on art. power overwhelms us. power kills us.
