bear walk tue. we're getting fonder. now after swim when i'm talking to somebody she'll lay down and after a while nuzzle my hand urging me to stop talking and go. she's growing up. i release her from her puppy house but i leave her in her own blue room. she may still pull some but she knows how to walk together. she just needs reminding. we all do. the flies must have ate her on the early walk, her collar was damp and she was turning and trying to scratch her behind and i heard later the flies were ferocious. they were still nasty on the second walk going home and she did the bedeviled dance and rolled. 
this is a profoundly stupid time. i mean there have been liars and thieves in the white house and there will be more but this is the most profoundly stupid mendacious epoch i've witnessed. the two paragraphs are related only by the contiguous tissue of my brain. and i too feel stupid. we are all of us both stardust and the undignified products of our devalued degraded and bedeviled time.
