i feel dispirited. in all cultures i think there are stories of people whose spirits leave their bodies. my spirit is dispirited inside my body, but it wanders too. there seem to be many now whose spirits have departed and left a hateful demon behind. the killers are running the show. some protest, some bide time. the grid of manipulated reality never did favor spirit, but some make a different show off grid. what inspirits me a little is that the hatemongers never crush the spirit of life out of the living—even dispirited, spirit is indomitable.
