the third walk with the bear girl. she inherited lulu's baby harness and i thought it would be too small but she has room to grow. she didn't shy away or try to wriggle out, but she still bites the rope lead. she lost a baby tooth yesterday. she loves to squirm under fences and bushes and hunt invisible critters in tall grass. she delights in the world. she sees a little leaf spinning on a thread and it's magic. then she sees a rainbow circle balloon and with a blink and a sniff she moves on. at one point when she was tying herself into a knot biting the rope i picked he up by the harness and floated her like a mother dog would. i hold her face and speak her name. she's getting to posing early and i hope for long time. she posed by that sea wall where mister posed before, where i posed myself, dogless douglas in between. we go day to day in dog time and it's a dog world for us. i'm a kid, she's a pup. i think i might have a new swimming partner. i thrill up and down my spine.
