little brown bear versus pinkus ursus beachus. i think we'll go to the secret beach by the golf course friday because at every official beach the nimrods of the park districk hassle us, and i get tired of blowing them off. they didnt here for some reason though they were traipsing up and down the lake path hassling people for no good reason. we saw a tough black cane corso
with two dudes and i thought the bigger said get that dog off the beach, but then i wandered by and he waved and said beautiful dog! so we went to the other end and round the fence but then the birds were nesting in the cliff made by erosion they made little round nests right in the vertical sand face. we stayed in the water but we probably should just avoid this beach, there's a lot of birds and it should just be a bird beach not humans not swimming and not dogs trained and handlers paid to chase birds off. 
i'm not sure if bear is a true water dog, not like lulu who bound right into the waves today (on another beach where they shooed us off and we ignored). bear whined and i squeeked the ball and she swam but just to nab it and get out. then she gets all wild and it takes a while to calm again and get back to walking together with treats.
