me and lulu walked down to the little beach at before the nature sanctuary by south shore country club. it was deserted except for a party of seagulls and one duck who was later joined by a partner. seagulls and ducks seem to enjoy each other. we missed andrew and bonnie. they saw us walk by from the car and thought we were heading for the stone beach by la rabida. lulu would have enjoyed bonnie but i actually enjoyed being alone on a deserted beach with lulu. she reminded me of mister again. she was happy just tooling around and chasing rocks. two kayakers came by and lulu was fascinated and started to follow them. i asked where they came from. i thought she said texas. she said no, jackson park. other than that no one came til i was putting on my shoes and lulu stared at something else fascinating and i turned and it was a police on a horse and she asked if the dog was on a leash and i said yes and luckily she was though as we started walking she said i only asked because some dogs get scared but i think lulu was only curious and the horse was calm. it's always nice to meet a nice police. one thing i'm glad about with the pandemic is the deserted beaches and the glad fact that lulu loves to swim.
