is the lake open yes. went right through the tunnel to the point with my pointer girl bear. something shifted and i thought today i'm not going to do struggle of wills rather i'm going to let bear do her thing and just have fun exploring. we went around the point and all the way up to the swamp for the first time in five months or something before mister died. of course i think of him all the way, and i talk to bear too, and see how she thinks and learns to negotiate the terrain, like me and mister did. and we were a duo today, and she looked at me like, i thought you'd get it, you've been here before. it's all there in your instinct, all you got to do is care, be vigilant, and play.
