i admit i rushed and skimmed the last pages of magdalena. it was good but i'll say there's a hell of a lot of insane killing and a lot of girls he describes as beautiful which is all true but ok enough and in the end it's a book of love for a river country that has been terrorized and polluted for hundreds of years of corruption and is still flowing and full of species and indigenous people miraculously surviving and a plea to clean the beloved river and in essence a plea for the rivers and people of the world to clean their hearts of hate and respect the river and the source of life and peace.
and i was eager to get into the end of october i hope it's a page turner.
