this morning there's a post on hyperallergic—obituaries for the american dream, asking people when it died for them. i think i never had an american dream like people from other places might, i just had dreams, in america just by happenstance. the america i come to know more and more is a bad dream and has been all along for so many, though now more than ever the time seems ripe for obituaries. it was a dream for many. many people came from nightmares this country created. now here the dream dies for more people every day. now if they make they make in the nightmare here.
