it rings like a cracked melody when they say happy mlk day. the government is still captive of greed and violence and hate. the evils of racism poverty and war that oppressed people then are still oppressing people today, and still people sing a change is going to come. power makes history, but by a miracle of nature, so does freedom —we're still here and people with cracked voices are still singing freedom songs.
