i learn a little more about the mystery book that has characters based on mister and me. the guy is angry and outspoken, but with strong and softer and caring side. and the dog is big and black and maybe a composite of mister and the big black labrador that attempted to murder him in the model yacht pond one winter. i hope the fictional dog was sweet as mister. in the book i become coop and the dog based on mister (copper) is called bear, and look who came along after mister—little bear. the truth is a mystery between books and life.
