i was thinking about my uncle who disappeared in israel. he was married twice and there's no record of either one. his canadian spouse was a horsewoman, tall and voluptuous, and i couldn't believe he didn't feel attracted to her, he only wanted to be housemates and get his canadian card. she said she had a dream wherein their son was calling to her asking to be born. his first wife was a sexy redhead he also was not attracted to. she left him in tears. i guess he tried to be what he was expected to be and he just couldn't. and then he had a long relationship with a cute man who worked at twa and modeled underwear and was a stand-in for bud cort in harold and maude. they wound up in b.c. on the island where i went to visit when i was 13 and again at 21. someday maybe i'll tell this story right, i'm not sure i can. anyway i'm jumping ahead, i was just thinking when i saw his picture on ancestry dot com when he was a kid. back then my dad was mean to him and used to ridicule him and call him fag and make him sleep in the bathtub. anyway i was thinking i don't know if his canadian wife even knew he died and i thought she'd want to know but i don't even know her last name.
