i think it was the guy who wrote the complexity theory that followed the chaos theory that though the world was chaos and no one is in control (though they try desperately to assert control)—there are underlying patterns to observe, and that inside their own brains humans have all kinds of different selves which the conscious mind has no awareness of at all and therefore no oneself or self control and that gives me pause to relax and reflect naturally without drawing any concrete conclusions.
