i'm reading the president and the frog if you wanna know. i finished the john ashbery unfinished poems and there's some good, and you wonder if he'd lived to 100 if he'd a published them. you get the feeling he didn't throw anything away. if you write that much, it can't all be good, so i relaxed and just read straight through. i think he wrote as a habit and habits can get to be too much after 90 years. but this book, well, i don't do reviews, not cogent ones. i don't want to say as i'm only on page 50 but what the heck, i like it, i may as well say now as i may not by the end. the president wonders can a president be a good person and actually serve the people? but he says it to a frog, so. well i don't want to spoil it just in case you might read it. you should in fact, i'll say that, because i am. i've read reviews and they don't tell you about the book i read, so, i'll just say read what you want, or what wants you to.
