Nothing! Nothing happened.
Nothing happened because—I don’t know why.
. . . We didn’t do anything because—of course, in those days, what could
you do?
...when those in power attempt to erase
a group’s voice,
Nothing remains but
lamentation, protest, and resolve.
How was that possible?
Obviously, life went on for everyone else
and they remembered that nothing happened,
so they were remembering not “nothing” but something they called
“nothing happened.”
What was that something?
Why was it called “nothing”?
