this morning a mother and two tiny kids with water wings were swimming down there. it was calm. two fire trucks pulled up and several rescue workers were surveying the rocks where that kid drowned. i think my instincts about the water are good, i sensed a drowning yesterday morning i believe, when i posted that we were flustered by the tide but did not drown. i hope the city doesn't close off the point because of the reckless ones. it's tragic to die by drowning, it touches on a strain of tragic poetry, but i know it would be a terrible death. please be careful everyone. regard the waves.
