did lulu notice something happening? we swam off the south side of the point and then started back the way we came but lulu wanted to go across the point and we did, then toward the tip, stopping here to take pictures. lulu was looking at a group below and one of the group, a girl smiled and took a picture of lulu. the boys were down by the casket shaped concrete breakers and the waves were crushing and they seemed to be laughing. as we left sirens came from all around. i read from sarah that someone drowned, then i read it in the herald. a boy died when we were there, probably one of those boys lulu and i were looking at.
