lulu is fascinated by the silkworms. sometimes she has an unfocused look. she can be directly in front of you but looking at something past you or in the periphery. when she has that look it may be she's thinking and concentrating. she's quite curious; she wants to figure things out. she'll go back to the same place where she saw something, even if it's gone, until she realizes it may not come back, and she moves on to the next fascinating thing. i feel her awareness of a thousand scents and events invisible to me. though actually she has a different vision, and i see things she doesn't see. when we walk together we see in tandem.
