+++ beyond vietnam. beyond death. everything martin luther king said in that speech
still resonates if you put the middle east in place of vietnam.
the horror is still going on.
the wealthy merchants of war are still killing the poor.
+++
each day the war goes on the hatred increases.
we still have a choice today: nonviolent coexistence or violent co-annihilation.
the nation is sick. trouble is in the land, confusion all around.
it is no longer a choice between violence and nonviolence in this world; it’s nonviolence or nonexistence. that is where we are today.
when the slaves get together, that's the beginning of the slaves getting out of slavery.
now let me say, as i move to my conclusion, that we’ve got to give ourselves to this struggle until the end.
~martin luther king.
