and now it's been 8 days since the x-rays, and 7 days since the surgery, and 5 days since he's been out of hospital recuperating, and we still don't have the results of the biopsy. 
jasper is completely at ease with mister now, even when he's eating. mister eyes the delicious cat food but keeps a respectful distance, waiting to lick the bowls. jasper walked right around mister this morning, calm as calm could be. 
still we're waiting. but we're really just living, working. no matter what the results may be, this is what we do.
