Community by community, we have the agency to divest our towns, schools, employers, and places of worship from war. We can defund and stigmatize the war machine.

i don't know what mayor lightfoot feels about divestment. she's been corporate and austere so far, and if she feels about peace like she does about education, we need help here.

i'm but a dog walker, and my time is constrained, but i'd like to hand out some of those sweet peace poppies.

 

p.s. i meant to mention air force flyovers at soldier stadium. this is disgusting to me. flying war planes over football fans to boost recruitment. yesterday i heard the screech across the sky.
