      *i like to think about dogs listening to the thoughts of writers, or my own ramblings. 
often i do this at large, speaking earnestly and with clear emphasis, and the expression they show is really them listening, hearing my tone, and inflection, which is for them as well as trying to hear myself think, and to see how their expression reflects my words as they wonder what in hell i'm talking about.
