you got to break their will, so they submit to your will. it's a kind of civilizing, so they act like humans. 
but what is the will exactly anyway?

...a stupid movie. unless it's supposed to be, maybe he's just making fun of america, but it might still be stupid. i like the above quote anyway. a rich family has a kid who survives cancer so they get him a dachsund and the dog gets diarrhea so they put him to sleep but then the vetrinary assistant dognaps him before the lethal injection. yeah right she just walks off the job. greta gerwig's the assistant and she's usually annoying. the dog might make it worthwhile watching if it survives. 
there's a lot of well paid lost souls in the movies. they stick around like ghosts no one told them they're dead, so they keep acting. if people like them for some sad reason they get hired no matter how they suck. it's like branding, like the worst beer. dogs can be good in movies that are real stinkers, and sometimes save the actors and the movie, barely.  

it's getting better now danny devito got the dog. he's some kind of lonely wishful film producer who's really a high school teacher.  

forget this movie, i watched it so you don't hafta botha.
