the wall will be gone 
soon or eventually 
i dread the wall that will replace 
it took so long for the lake to make 
the wall beautiful in it's crumbling state 
but nothing can stay the same, even ruins change, 
and yet the army corps of engineers will make 
this place a dead place, and the waves 
will express our lovely lake, frustrated and angry 
at our engineered fate.
