why are horror movies so absurd? is it because we want to be fake scared not real scared? real life is scary as hell. do we need to fake it so we can can control the real fear? or is it just hard to make real fear in a movie? if so, why do so people insist on failing to make a truly scary horror movie? maybe people are gullible and believe absurdities, and they like fake fear, and they are really afraid of real things out there they can't control that will never be in a movie because they're real.
