we met a man at the little free library box at the public garden and i asked is there anything good. he had a blue-ray of silver linings playbook (i didn't tell him not good) and a book on crafts he said would be good at the seniors home for alzheimer's folks. i picked up invisible by paul auster. one blurb says it's the most intricate metaphysical exercise yet from the increasingly kafkaesque american modern. lulu was very intrigued. lulu is visibly intrigued by invisible things.
coincidentally i started reading as lonely as franz kafka last night which i got from mimi's estate sale recently. i was feeling adrift for words. that's the way it goes. intrigued is a good way to be.
