we saw two films that feel related, jinpa and aga. elemental, about animal nature and dreams. both work to explore the elemental relation of people and animals and the disconnection of the human condition. they both come out of stark and ancient cultures that were once remote from progress and have now become threatened and occupied. but these are stories about how we live in the landscape of dire changes and what adaptations we may manage with the karma we have come to work with.
