grace is in her jail cell on wheels because she's mean. she has on a pink princess blouse with pink ruff. i'm a first time puppy mom, her warden says. i offer my hand, she sniffs, and not a puff of fear or aggression comes through the mesh. mom stands between mister and grace and says the trainer says i have to socialize her. she's afraid. i'm afraid, too, that grace will stay in jail.
