sometimes i feel like i'm learning and then blam—i know nothing—my brain is stunted, addled, sad and confused. is the saying two steps forward, one step back? or one step forward, two steps back? i suppose it's the former, but it feels like the latter. or both. then i'm still in the same place. it's just a saying anyway, like this too shall pass, it's just a feeling.
