r. back. when he saw the suitcase jaspy ran to the closet to hide. came out later and hid in the corner of the kitchen. wouldn't eat. woke me with paw taps at midnight for food. r. says i go to a dark place when she's away. i feel like i go there anyway either way, though i may be able to shake it better when she's here. either way we are in a dark place all of us and we have to shake it and look for light things.
