i sent this picture to bear's dad ben. he said he used to sit in the same place when he was a kid. i asked if he had any pictures of him sitting there as a kid. he said he didn't think he did. i said maybe you can get small and i can photograph you there. and that was it, the end. but then in the shower i was thinking of bear and ben and i remembered that show with a kid and a bear and i looked it up and it was opie's brother clint and he was born in 1959 like me and the show was in 1969 so he was ten and i was ten watching him and the bear and the show was called gentle ben.
