as a kid i thought everyone was acting. not actors, but acting a part. i thought of myself as a ghost. if i have intuition i don't know what it's saying. what was the story of casper the friendly ghost? he was a kid whose mom died when he was born and then he got pneumonia at 12 and died and his dad tried to make a body for him and failed and ended up in a loony bin and the kid ghost was left alone in the house. i don't think i liked the cartoons and don't remember any of the kid's backstory, just the earnest little ghost trying to make friends and spooking everybody. he wasn't scary and it seemed the other kids were just mean and prejudiced.
