you remember this tree in the winter? this was the fragile skeleton of the giant ice monster.

   and remember this one? this was the fragile beam and roof of the ice hut mister and i  crawled inside. 
   and now these surviving forms growing anew are reminding us of the spirit that emerges from different kinds of death.
