everyone knows the obama center is a land grab, and now everyone knows it's illegal, and we all know it is the theft of public land for private enterprise. the people who are for it will profit, the people opposed will lose. the people who profit by it will also lose what the people who lose lose. it's a lose lose, with profit for the people who take the park from the people who love the park and displace the people from the neighborhoods surrounding the park. obama has said that he wants his own millennium park. and who but the rich can live in and around millennium park. we have had corporate land grabs before, massive neighborhood destroying changes. we've had waves of gentrification scouring the city before. we've had developers and destroyers and the rich have always been the winners. the spoilers get the spoils. but i'm glad at least to see at last that the truth is coming out. this will go down as a crime, against the commons and the common people.
