Peaceful Pause
Sagittarius Horoscope
May 18, 2018
You
may experience moments of frustration when negotiating with others
today. You might feel that your words aren't being heard or that your
point of view is being disregarded. You might be trying to persuade
others to your way of thinking and are encountering resistance. If you
feel your frustration building today, you might want to find healthy
ways to release it. You could take a brisk walk to burn it off, practice
deep breathing to regain your serenity, or take a mental pause.
Visualize flipping a switch in your mind that shuts off the flow of
negative thoughts and instead creates peaceful silence. Negotiations
should go smoothly when you aren't feeling frustrated and are detached
from the outcomes.
Learning to pause in the midst of frustrating circumstances can give us greater control of our emotions and restore our serenity. While feelings of frustration are completely natural, they tend to grow if we don't take control of them. If we can stop for a moment and disconnect from our emotional responses, our stress level will drop and we won't feel so attached to a particular outcome. By releasing our expectations, we let go, relax, and allow for what needs to happen to take place--often these outcomes tend to be better than anything we could have ever imagined. Pausing momentarily during frustrating moments today could create the space for calm and successful negotiations.

*i removed myself from the obomba center subset of goo neighbors due to the relentless propaganda. i am certain two or three or several are in the pay of the ex-pres. when it spilled back into goo neighbors i wrote to object. the city gave the green light yesterday (though that was a done deal long ago), a day after protect our parks sued to stop it. the fact that the goo neighbors are still arguing about the site could be cause for hope, or it could just be the same old shit. money and power will take what they want from us as long as we let them, and sadly many of us conspire with them against those with no voices, the trees, the animals, kids, the poor, and everyone who is powerless and subject to a system of corruption.
i keep on like the horoscope says pausing. but pausing is pausing something that will likely continue in one way and form or another, and you can't pause anger at injustice for long.
