we moseyed over to sand ridge. it was good to get away from obamaland. trouble is you got to come back. going south is like going back in time. they have a lot of buildings from the past, i mean my past, 50's and 60's, and i might have disliked them new but now with the scourge of change and urban renewal and land grabs like obamaland. i'm back, but i didn't think of the obamalandgrab once in sand ridge. we were on glacial melt time, marsh time, owl and turtle time. i picked up a glacial erratic that is actually a piece of slag, for this place has a more recent history than glaciers receding. however, i did snag a nirvana quartz from the modern meltdown, a sad beauty, an ancient souvenir of the time before the scourge of our grim industry.
