i was thinking about triggers too, triggers in language, triggers in the body. triggers in the past and triggers in the present. triggers and guns, so many guns in the world, so many triggers. the idea that the body has its own triggers. i haven't held a gun since that bb gun that shot a bird on a telephone wire when i was i suppose 10 years old. i used to climb the poles and steal the glass insulators when the lines were buried underground. i could have got shot down like a bird. i think it's funny we call the things that get released inside us triggers. when you can put down a gun and say you won't kill anyone there are still triggers everywhere.

my horoscope today is called rejuvenation. it goes

You could consider finding one thought pattern in your life that you wish to change, such as a tendency toward self-defeating thoughts or negative self-talk. Try watching your mind as your chosen pattern arises and observe what triggers it. As you become aware of your thought, give yourself permission to let it go and then reflect upon the impact this pattern has on your life. Using the momentum of your present enthusiasm can help you change your ways of thinking. Finding the thoughts we use to sabotage ourselves is an important first step in this process and will allow us to increase our energy and enthusiasm for life as a result. By noticing the impact your thought patterns have today, you will more easily release them and make your life more trouble-free.
