when i saw the boat it was in a boat-shaped hole in the playground but they found a large root that belongs to a tree adjacent to the dead tree playground and the hole is too shallow to bury the boat on top of the root. hmm. and across the street it's all getting pumped out and filled in and flattened and i'm fond of this little pond but i guess it'll be gone tomorrow.
