sorry to say i jettisoned monkey boy. sorry because i kept at it too long, over half way to the end, and the last 100 pages or so were a slog. is it just me or was it so dissolute? he keeps tossing in scenes and flashbacks and characters and there's no movement, i the reader have to push through and finally i say fuggit, i'm not doing it, and now i'm reading blow your house down, least it's real life and shit happens that's real even if it goes nowhere.

and i hate that they're fucking up the lake, pouring concrete everywhere and and destroying our loved swamp. these fuckers don't even go to the lake. they just want to build a fucking wall like the sick fuck trump to keep it from coming in and keep us out. i can't wait till it overwhelms their brutish designs. nature will out!
