People were connecting in the streets, connecting online and so pre-existing solidarities were deepening, but also average, maybe more apathetic folks, were being politicized.

we watched hamtramck u.s.a. last night. interesting to see how a dwindling population changes. each new wave of immigrants often coming from places we've invaded. hamtramck is now the first majority muslim city in the u.s.
i wonder what happened in hamtramck in the wake of the latest u.s.—israeli bombing of palestine?
one thing that stood out in the film was a muslim fellow who was running for mayor saying we need to have unity, and unity is not conformity.
black lives matter and free palestine.
meanwhile is israel still training the u.s. police how to get the job done?
not a single u.s. flag appeared in the dearborn demonstrations.
