me and lulu at the protest wall today. the kids were nearby having class under the trees. social studies. i heard a kid eating a sammich say there's a man with a dog looking at our pictures. i wondered if there would be anything for the 1 year anniversary of george floyd's murder, but they seem to be concentrating on breonna taylor. they put a picture way up high over the bas-relief bronze head of the fellow they made the statue for, masaryk the czech realist? 

i'm sure virtually every person who passes says who's masaryk? well i just forgot the name of this fellow murdered by the police. the framed picture of breonna taylor has a cracked glass — careful kids. i don't know how long the protest will continue, who knows maybe as long as the statue, maybe as long as the police state. it'll be impossible to remember all the names. i'm sorry about that.
