charlie got spayed. she came to our house for the morning and played with the cat toys while the cats watched from the periphery. when she got a little too close we put the cats in the bedroom but cats and dog were curious and relatively calm. after charlie went home jasper sniffed the plush angry bird and penny sniffed the green blanket charlie borrowed, lay down upon it and stretched contentedly. i'm proud of all of us, how we've grown and how we get on.
