though i'm glad we can speak fluently or even awkwardly i suppose and i'm glad to be quiet and read at times i feel language is a burden on silence sometimes and i look at the cat napping peacefully and think if we didn't have to speak would we have need of anything to explain? if we tried miaowing and pointing and interpreting without interpolating in our heads thought bubbles might form saying something like listen, isn't that cat cute, wonder what she's saying?
