will i always be fustrated? i woke before six from a covid hospital. people dying, exhaustion, no relief, finally, release. woke up aroused. while waiting for images to load i saw my old magic 8 ball. it was so long ago, so long gone. i was probably 13. i ask the ethereal magic 8 ball, it says Reply hazy, try again. when i had the magic 8 ball in my hand i asked over and over until i got a satisfactory answer, but i didn't get satisfied, i knew the answer in my bones, young in years but always old, the answer was yes, you will always be fustrated. the magic 8 ball had no magic, it got stuck, often giving the same dumb answer over and over. i woke up aroused, i went to bed that way. i don't remember what i did with my magic 8 ball but i see that white plastic icosahedron die in my hand with 20 printed answers. did i smash the magic 8 ball to get what was inside? did i wipe off the blue ether and roll it erratically, follow it haplessly down the sidewalk of life?
